The Art is coming home

Well, the War and Peace art made is as far as California which we think is pretty cool. Tim has returned from California and has put the box of the art you bravely created on a boat which is making it's way to Maui as I write this. Look here for more details in the coming week for a location and time to pick up your art. Let's have a little celebration don't you think? It would be nice to gather, get nostalgic and potentially inspire eachother for new creative powerful projects.

It has been a year since we closed the doors on the War and Peace Art Show in Makawao. Right about this time last year, we were gearing up for the Makawao parade. Do you remember how much fun it was and what a stand out presence we had?

Join us again this year as we march for peace.

We'll be posting an update soon on the status of all the artwork (yes it is still in California). In short, if you know of any benefactors who may be able to provide the financing to keep the show on the road, let us know. In the meantime, we are selling t-shirts on the website.

Thank You Hillary T-Shirts and Tote bags

Some of us Maui Artists for Peace have expressed that we did not want to throw our support behind Barack Obama. That included some Hillary supporters as well as some Ron Paul and Dennis Kucinich supporters. Whatever your political affiliation, I hope we can all agree that Hillary Clinton has changed the political landscape for women. I was touched when I read about moms whose daughters will from now on see a woman running for president as normal. I made a series of collectible tote-bags (for your groceries) and t-shirts with various messages expressing gratitude to Hillary.

Maui Artist for Peace Benefit Concert

We are proud to be the largest collective anti-war Art
Show in the United States. This benefit is a
grassroots celebration raising awareness with an
organic synergy of with inspiring and devoted artist,
musicians, poets, and speakers.

The funds raised will keep the War and Peace Art
Exhibition show moving across the United States as a
protest against all war and a call for world peace,
with the eventual goal of being in Washington DC for

with life essence that is contagious, full of
laughter, and gives people permission to be the

-Mikayla Lev is a peace builder, artist, filmmaker and
creative visionary. She will show a clip from her
Documentary film "Without Walls" - a documentary about
the phenomenon of separation; from the external walls
or fences built between various nations in conflict to
